This two week intensive ONE on ONE training course is purposefully designed for you to learn and perform hands on and in the real world. Ever been to a class or school and you just didn’t learn enough of what it was “really like” in the real world? Graduated, got out and confused? Now, do you remember your field trips? When you were seeing “out there” in real world and learning from professionals? This program is designed for a combination of both experiences. Lecture dedicated training and skills and also hands on field learning that one would usually experience as an apprentice. This locksmith program is like none other. It is for the “hands-on” type of learner and the entrepreneurial minded student will get the absolute most out of this training. Comprehensive lecture and in field-on the job training. Taught by an educated professional.
Locksmith Learning Program-Learn what is necessary to succeed
You will learn the basics of locksmithing. Understanding the various tools of the trade. Different types of keys and locks. Lock picking and key impressioning. Car lockouts. Commercial Hardware. Residential Hardware. Re-keying locks. Installing locks. Most importantly, learning the trade from the standpoint of working as a locksmith. You will learn standard business practices as they relate to how a mobile locksmith shop operates. How to keep costs lean from a cash flow perspective and learn valuable effective lessons from a successful entrepreneur.
Locksmith School Costs-Tuition and Tools
This intensive two-week program will be based out of Mesa, AZ.
The cost for tuition for this program will be $2500. This is a fantastic price to receive private training and field practice with a professional locksmith and successful entrepreneur.
Inclusive with tuition is one year of technical locksmith support! Imagine, while you start your business, you will still have access to the instructor to ask questions as you need to.
Tools: The student will need several tools for the program and beyond. Lock Pick Set, Car lock-out tools, one main textbook.
Cost for tools and books for training will be $250.
Boarding Option Costs
The student will have a boarding option for their program. Student will have a private bedroom private bath, microwave, refrigerator, laundry room facilities. Continental breakfast will be included with boarding option. Boarding Cost will be at a rate of $55 per night. Most students will find that their final boarding cost will be $715
Inclusive with purchasing the boarding option are complementary transfers to and from Phoenix Sky Harbor airport.

About The Instructor
Laura Cordovano is a locksmith security professional and business woman. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from Emerson College, Boston, MA in 1988. She has worked for such prestigious organizations such as Harvard Business School and Intuit Corporation; each where she gained invaluable experience in engagement speaking and personal training for various projects. She started her company, ASAP Lock & Security, where she has been a successful locksmith and entrepreneur, servicing the metro Phoenix, Arizona area in 2005.
From the start of her locksmith company in 2005, Ms. Cordovano, was profitable from day one and successfully moved from a 9-5 job into the realm of the entrepreneur. To ramp her new career as a locksmith, she took some classic classroom training, then soon found her business and software acumen was immediately useful.
She competes for bids and customers, in one of the largest cities in the US, with some of the biggest and oldest locksmith companies in the Phoenix valley area. She also developed and manages her company web site and is ranked very well on Google in the competitive locksmith market. She has a large, loyal client database and has the knowledge, organization and energetic personality to help other entrepreneurs have successful ventures in the locksmith industry.
Ms. Cordovano, has taken a natural step into teaching Basic locksmithing with the emphasis on the student locksmith as an entrepreneur. The selected students who embark on her program, at the end of training, will have been trained on the basic locksmithing techniques, tools, business strategies and procedures necessary to succeed in their own marketplace as a successful locksmith.
