The Scottsdale police informed the public a few days ago about the recent rash of pool equipment theft from residential properties. As the foreclosure wave is still with us, so does is the aftermath of the break. There have been few arrests, but Scottsdale police believe that pool equipment is disappearing from properties because of unpaid bills and the fact that the secondary market for used parts is fairly healthy. It is suspect that the pool guys who get stiffed from unpaid bills from their previous customers calling in bankruptcy might even take the pool equipment to help pay for revenue lost? Hmmm?
