Keypad Access Control

Businesses who have a significant number of employees find having at least one door on their building having a  keyless access control lock very convenient.  The price of the lock varies with the level of  intelligence of the lock.  For example, if  only being able to have users gain entrance with a lock and not being concerned with how many times they enter or when, then a lower level of intelligence is fine.   A good example of this would be used on say, a server room door, an internal door on building.  However, with an exit/entry door, most employers want to know who gains entry and when.  As brief a summary as this post, it is also very important to know whom on your team will be managing the lock system.  Most software modules that come with quality systems have very friendly user interfaces along with good technical support teams to assist if you need them.  Ask your Phoenix locksmith about options for access control.

If you have a french door in your house, you need to enhance security with it.  Criminals know what to look for and so does a good locksmith.  I was in Chandler, AZ helping a customer who was concerned with every other part of the house except the french door.  Ask a detail oriented locksmith to help you with your mechanical home security.  Criminals won’t like it, but this locksmith in chandler will  help you stay safe and protect your property!

Locksmith Service Scottsdale

Just wanted to point out again, that when you look for a Scottsdale locksmith service, the professional you choose to help you with all your mechanical security does not have to necessarily have an occupied shop in Scottsdale.  For example, ASAP Lock & Security helps Scottsdale residents and business owners seven days a week inclusive of emergency hours.  A locksmith service company, that has a healthy business cannot just do business in one location.  Hence, ASAP Lock & Security Scottsdale locksmith service clients are all over the valley receiving quality security products and of course, service on their business and home Scottsdale locations.

Locksmith in Mesa, AZ-Please Open My Door!

True story from a Mesa, AZ Locksmith.  I was called out at 6:45am to please, please, please, I locked my keys in my bedroom. Can you come now, I need to get to work!  As locksmiths, of course this is what we do.  We help people out of jams, me personally, I like helping people NOT get into jams, by installing high security and code locks-wouldve avoided this story, but…mistakes happen so of course I hopped in the truck and got there within 15 minutes.  The bedroom lock was installed incorrectly,  upside down  Kwikset lock.  I took out my pick tools.  By the way, do you know how much a good set of PROFESSIONAl  locksmith picks (notice the caps?) cost a locksmith?  Just let me say…not cheap.  So, I picked the worried woman’s door open in about two minutes (remember, I was sleepy).  She paid me, thanked me for my kind and fast service and said she really had to get to work.  I said, “Well, have a nice day, and don’t do this anymore.”  We both chuckled and had each of our starts to our day.

Later on, we got a call at about 4:45pm. ’ Hi this is Ms. xyz,  I can’t get into my bedroom again!  My key won’t work.  What did you do to the lock?’  I assured this woman, that the picks I have–or any other professional locksmith, the picks would NOT-absolutely NOT harm the lock in any way.  Do you have the right key for your bedroom door?  Oh, yes. I think…yes, yes I do, you must have broken the lock, can you come over and let me  in again?’ Are you sure you have the correct key, Mame?  ‘Look, I need help and I can’t afford another lock out fee.   Please just come over’  I sighed, oh, this woman’s day…obviously, had not improved.  I gave her my most rock-bottom-can’t get any cheaper rate to help her, again,  because…well, I have a heart.  My heart doesn’t pay my bills, but I believe, Karma is real so it’s a fair swap.    Back to the story…simple of it was, she wasn’t satisfied.  She wanted me to come over with no lock-out charge.  I said, wait, let me understand, you want me to come over FOR FREE?  I asked her one question and I asked it softly…Mame, do you work for free?

Customers, please understand, we cannot come to you on-site and perform work for FREE.  What we do promise, is that you will be treated with respect, professionally and you will NOT be over-charged for services.  Now this locksmith in Mesa, AZ, the one with the heart,  did not set-up a non-profit organization.

Hmmm, maybe I should look into that?

Scottsdale Police Cyber Bully Guidelines

Direct from the trusted Scottsdale police. In the unfortunate case that your child becomes victim to cyber bully attacks, follow these guidelines:

  • Do not respond to the bully. Responding to the bully will escalate the problem.
  • Use the block feature found in email, chat rooms or instant messaging sites. Most sites allow users to block specific screen names or email addresses. For SNS (social networking sites), you may need to delete the current account and open a new account that limits access to trusted friends.
  • Do not erase or delete evidence such as emails or text messages.
  • Contact your ISP (Internet Service Provider), the SNS (social networking site) or cell phone company and file a complaint. Many Internet sites, Internet providers and other forms of digital media have a code of conduct policy or other guidelines prohibiting abusive/profane language or conduct.
  • Contact the child’s /teen’s school if it is school related. Find out if the school has a policy on cyberbullying and what can be done.
  • Contact local law enforcement if you or the child/teen has been threatened or a crime has been committed.

This Scottsdale locksmith thought it a good idea to post these guidelines from Scottsdale  police to help parents protect their kids. Too bad, as I don’t believe as yet, cyber bullying –cyber bullying–the act itself– isn’t on the books as a stand alone crime.
