The Mesa Fire Department’s Fire and Life Safety Education division offers a free program for all Mesa residents. The program is called Home Safety Inspection (HSI) Program. Trained volunteers go to the Mesa Fire Department’s customers to perform home safety checks such as kitchen- cooking safety, fire prevention, smoke detector checks and others.
