Locksmith Frauds
locksmith-az
ASAP Lock & Security customers arrive via phone call to discuss how recently a family member or a friend was ripped off by a locksmith. It’s very sad to continue to see articles in the New York Times still commenting about locksmith fraud. Here in the Phoenix valley professional locksmith az is unfortunately, hard to find. One of the reasons is due to lack of state licensing for Arizona locksmiths. Please let’s not get into criticizing the great state of Arizona. There are only 13 states in the US that license locksmiths. California is one of them. I know a very professional locksmith in California that informs me all the time that locksmiths pose as licensed, when they are not. Simple fact is that you can pass licensing in a state, but what good is it if it is not enforced? For your protection, as a consumer, bottom line is this, for a professional locksmith az, (please forgive the keywords here) but for professional locksmith service, call now and interview who you would want to do business with if the time ever came for you to call on an Arizona locksmith. Hey, ask for me! My name is Laura, I own ASAP Lock & Security, and I can attest and I have many client testimonials too who can say without a doubt, I am a talented, honest and professional Arizona locksmith and reputable business owner. Let me help you and I certainly appreciate my loyal customers.
Woman Escapes Locksmith Scam-Hires ASAP Instead
ASAP Lock & Security, a trusted Scottsdale locksmithservice. Why can we say it? Testimonials. A woman was the victim of a locksmith scam. She lost the keys to one of her investment homes in Scottsdale. She looked up the first company listed on the internet,I’m not going to list their name here, but this company advertises the claim that they come out for $25.
Be careful of locksmith companies that are solely advertising just to get the Google rank. The ones that have no apparent “real name” if you will. You know, like just “Phoenix Locksmiths” or “Scottsdale Locksmiths.” Eeek.
Did you know, Arizona, that these types of scam companies can use criminals who show up for your service calls? Yup. No formal background check licensing required in our state.
ASAP Lock & Security does NOT use criminals. Background Check is REQUIRED to work on our team. That is a specific ASAP Lock & Security company policy.
So…back to the story. They go out to this woman, glance at her deadbolt and say “I’m going to have to drill it then install a new one” Now, there are some locks now on the market where…this is a true statement. Hers wasn’t one of them. “Oh, and I’m going to have to charge you $200 extra to do the work.” So according to my customer, this guy shows up in an SUV, not looking very professional, no shirt displaying company name, nothing. She SENT HIM AWAY. (applause-applause)
Then she did a better research on the internet and found ASAP Lock & Security.
We quoted on the phone, arrived on time and opened her door in about 20 seconds. She paid what we quoted. This smart woman did NOT get SCAMMED. She is an inspiration to ALL consumers.
Go with an ethical Arizona locksmith company. Call ASAP Lock & Security. We will always do the best thing for our customers. We are professionals. We are knowledgeable. We are your community locksmith company.

Locksmith Company Fraud
On line there are national companies clearly trying to copy ASAP Lock & Security on a local level. Please remember that there is ONLY one Asap Lock & Security in Phoenix . So many national locksmith service companies are here in the Phoenix Valley. DO NOT HIRE NATIONAL COMPANIES. Here is why:
They have unskilled, non-background checked “technicians” show up to service your property. These companies are usually the culprits who are “exposed” on our local Phoenix news channels as price jacking lawless locksmiths.
ASAP Lock & Security is a licensed Arizona LLC that is the Phoenix Valley’s TRUSTED Phoenix locksmith service. Call us today to speak to a locksmith in the Phoenix Valley that appreciates your business and makes customers for long term relationships.
We are growing our locksmith service based on customer referrals. That pretty-much says it all.
Best,

Locksmiths on the Internet
Jeez. I guess that’s the only way to start this post. The internet is SATURATED with locksmiths in the Phoenix valley. It’s very hard for a consumer to figure out who is who what is what. Who do you trust with your security?
There are A LOT of scam artist companies advertising here in the valley. Non-local, lock service advertising trying to lure in the unsuspecting. I wanted to post here, as the owner of ASAP Lock & Security, that these companies are bogus and they bother me deeply. It is WRONG and IMMORAL to take advantage of people in an emergency situation..be it locked out of their home, car or office. WRONG. Beware of the 800 phone numbers and well, they even have local numbers too, but they ring into a hub somewhere…be it Toronto or Atlanta. So watch out and ask questions. If the owner won’t get on the phone with you? They most likely are a scam company.
Speaking as the owner of a locksmith service that is established here in the valley, it is very apparant that ASAP Lock & Secuirty has strong business ethics and we are qualified trade professionals. I can support this very simply: ASAP Lock & Security has a strong client referral base. Our customers like to pass the word along to friends and collegues. Our customers have loyalty when it comes to their locksmith security company and we own that loyalty and give back with THE BEST LOCK SERVICE and security they desire. Referrals are our biggest compliment!
Call ASAP Lock & Security@ 480-380-2080 BEFORE there is an emergency or if you have a security question and want to speak to a locksmith.
Locksmiths – There are many in Phoenix!
Just a note about national companies conducting a locksmith business in many states. One of them, ARIZONA. These companies set up slick web sites – notice- that are not personalized so you have no real pictures of who you are doing business with and be assured that the locksmith who comes to service, is of poor quality and training. The reason why I say this? You cannot run a national company for a local service and still maintain quality!
Arizona is a good target because our licensing is lax. A felon can perform locksmithing in Arizona! WOW.
So, who are you going to trust? Number one, beware of the slick national companies. Look on their website for service in other cities…they will be pointing their website to other locksmiths in other cities…because THEY OWN THAT WEB SITE TOO!
The main jobs these national companies pull off are lockouts. The unfortunate, needy and unsuspecting customer in this situation is looking for a “deal” and is quoted a VERY LOW price on the phone, the locksmith, you can’t even call them that–the technition then, shows up at your car or home –in a car or suv or some other non-professional vehical, and says…that will be $250 to get you in.
Call a local ethical company. Call the locksmiths you can trust-ASAP Lock & Security. We background check our locksmiths and they’ve been working for us for years. Not like these national companies who hire the unskilled to come tear off your doors, damage your car doors or bring a crow bar to open your shed.
Call us and speak to a real, credible, local Phoenix Locksmith Service Company! This means we cover the valley. Whether you are in Scottsdale, Mesa, Tempe, Queen Creek, Chandler or Gilbert!
Sincerely,
Laura Cordovano
